SECOND QUARTER OVERALL LEARNINGS AND EXPERIENCES!

         
          
               A lot of us likes to eat and no one can deny that! every morning we woke up, we always think about food and in that way we can already say that CPTLE is hella important. studying lessons and topics about cooking, utensils, and ect. can be so fun specially to the people having passion in cooking. well I have my own spectacular experiences in second quarter and overall learnings  and I'm going to show it to you.

 LEARNINGS!!
          on this quarter we tackled about Vegetables and Seafoods. Our teacher discussed about the qualities of seafood and vegetables so we the students can assure that the food is clean, and safe. like for example, Quality factors for vegetables include the following— maturity, firmness, the uniformity of size and shape, the absence of defects, skin and flesh color. Many of the same quality factors are described for fruits, with the addition of texture-related attributes such as turgidity, toughness, and tenderness. Let's talk about the market forms and their cuts!The market forms of vegetables are fresh, frozen, dried and processed vegetables. The brunoise is a small dice, between 1 to 3 mm dice. The macedoine is 5 mm dice. The jardinière is match stick shape. The paysanne means cut thick into squares, circles, triangles or half round. The Julienne is a long thin match stick shape. . And for the seafood, Fish should smell fresh and mild, not fishy, sour, or ammonia-like. A fish's eyes should be clear and shiny. Whole fish should have firm flesh and red gills with no odor. Fresh fillets should have firm flesh and red blood lines, or red flesh.  there are shellfish and finfish. Shellfish are crabs, lobsters, and other seafood that are enclosed with hard shells. Finfish are fish that are covered with scales and fins.

 EXPERIENCES!!
  • I had a lot of fun experiences while cooking because my group mates are my friends!
  • cooking can be so much fun because I learned a lot while cooking different dishes!
  • there's a fulfillment when the teachers liked your group's dish
  • buying ingredients in the supermarket is such a great experience because you can use it as a way if you want to go to district with your friends!

GOOD DAY FELLAS!                wanna try something new recipe? Oh you're lucky! we have here a dish that can make your food life even more happier! Let's now jump right into it. SWEET AND SOUR FISH FILLET INGREDIENTS 4 (4 ounces each) tilapia fillets, cut into 2-inch pieces 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 cup flour salt and pepper to taste 1 egg, well beaten oil ½ small yellow bell pepper, cut into cubes ½ small red bell pepper, cut into cubes 1 small onion, peeled and sliced thinly 1 cup pineapple juice ½ cup rice vinegar ¼ cup ketchup ½ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon cornstarch STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE In a bowl, combine fish and soy sauce.                This is one of the best days in my entire life! I never thought that this will be the starting point of our eagerness to win in every competition.  NUTRITIVE APPAREL AND NUTRITION PLANTATION         Those are the competitions included in one program and yes! we are the Champions in those two. It was a great experience to us because this is our starting point to strive for more winnings.
